Following last year’s successful trial sheep show, we are testing the waters for a larger Agricultural Show on the site on Sunday 18th June.

We are excited about partnering with the organisers and helping to bring the show back to Tod after a number of years away from the town.

Todmorden is a diverse town and the farming community is often a forgotten group. The show is a great place to meet and understand farming, where our food comes from and the culture of the industry.

At this year’s show there are a number of entertaining attractions including:

  • Jacaranda petting farm
  • Alpacas
  • HAPPA (Bringing a Shetland Pony)
  • Fun Dog show
  • Worth Valley Ferret Rescue (Ferret Agility Course)
  • Sheep show
  • Vintage Tractors
  • and more…

It’s a fun day with an educational and heritage twist.

Numbers are limited to a maximum of 500 people on site so we recommend getting here early to bag a parking spot.

Please see the organiser’s website for full details times, tickets and events timetable https://todshow.org.uk/

Post Event Update

The 2023 Todmorden Agricultural Show was held at the Riverside Centre as a collaborative event between the Agricultural Society and UCVR.

Both organisations agree it was a tremendous success with a capacity of 600 visitors throughout the day. Work to plan the 2024 show is already underway.
